SAP those things - Theory -1-SAP first intimate contact

People, since they come to this world, should always leave something more or less in some form, this is my consistent idea. nvidia partner Yes, I plan to write some summaries of my work to form a series of articles, which are divided into theoretical part and practical part. I also plan to write a skills part. In the theoretical part, I mainly discuss some methods and experiences related to enterprise informatization and ERP implementation, including some core design logic and system architecture of SAP. The actual combat article is mainly divided into some topics to demonstrate some main functions in SAP, and the skills article is mainly for a certain function point or a certain detail in SAP. I don't know when I'm going to finish, or how many I'm going to finish, but anyway, I'm ready to do it, and this is the first one.

Before people do something, especially something they think is more important, they often have to ask themselves why they want to do it, or what is the meaning of doing it. SAP Outsourcing From a psychological point of view, if people feel that what they are doing is significant, then they will take the trouble to do it, perhaps the body will be very tired, but the heart is very full, and even feel not tired, but feel full of happiness. This is also the fundamental difference between people and animals, people have rational thinking, animals mainly out of instinct to make the corresponding behavior, and people will look for the meaning behind the behavior, that is, people will think more deeply. So why did you write this series? I pulled myself hard and felt that there were several reasons.

1.

The reason most in line with the practical idea is that life is a lifetime, smart waste management plants and trees in the autumn, since you have come to this world for a walk, you must leave some traces, then the best way is to code words, perhaps there will be no few people to read it, whatever, write it yourself, just to console yourself.

2.

The highest reason is that Confucianism has a saying of "morality, speech and meritorious service", and it is said that only a few Liao Liao people have reached this realm since ancient times. I, although said a grassroots, but God gave us the ability to think, that also don't waste, we also learn to stand up, even if not, maybe they can look at it when they are old.

3.

The most narcissistic reason is that maybe your own experience can make people have a little harvest, maybe hit a lot of luck, what you write can also be liked by many people, maybe you will therefore fire it, ha ha, think more, think more.

4.

The most grandiose reason is that I hope that my experience of ten years of experience can give you a little inspiration, if you read after a little harvest, satisfied! You don't want your writing to be worthless, do you?

Speaking of my working experience, I had the opportunity to contact SAP shortly after graduation, but at that time I was still doing specific financial work, using SAP as a user, and participating in part of the implementation of SAP. When I just contacted SAP, I really felt that this system was too awesome, and the function was so powerful that the version at that time should be R3 4.6 and 4.7. The most impressive are these points:

1.

ATP (Available to Promise) check, contact SAP, found that when the delivery can check the inventory is enough, the previous system either can not check the inventory, the inventory can even be negative, or can only check the existing inventory, often have to call the warehouse to ask whether the product is still in stock, can be shipped. The ATP check of SAP can not only check the existing inventory, but also check the inventory in transit. For example, I have 100 pieces of product A in inventory and another 100 pieces in transit, which will arrive on March 05, 2016, so I need to ship 200 pieces of goods. The expected delivery date of the created delivery plan is March 06, 2016. Then the system will consider that there is enough goods to be shipped. If the expected delivery date of the created delivery plan is 2016.03.03, then the system will consider that there is a shortage of 100. At that time, there was another thing that impressed me deeply: the ATP inspection of SAP was all based on the factory, which could not be carried out based on the warehouse location, and the delivery factories of the branches used the same one. For the tight supply of goods, each branch often created the delivery plan in order to make its own goods to ship, even if there were not so many goods to ship. We also created a large number of delivery plans for tight products at one time, which we called "lock inventory", and then there were some small contradictions between the branches because of this matter, and they often called to coordinate and let the other party "put out" the goods. Now think about it, in fact, you can understand that in the case of limited resources, everyone wants to take a little more. However, from the shortage of materials in the 1970s and 1980s, we have gradually transitioning to the current overcapacity, and many industries are now in a situation of oversupply. On the contrary, I personally think that it is better to have a slightly smaller supply than demand, because obviously when supply exceeds demand, it will lead to vicious competition and waste of resources, and the latter is more serious. Another point, I learned a text when I was a child, there is a sentence called "from thrift into luxury is easy, from luxury into thrift is difficult", people are used to good days, once the future resources are scarce again, I am afraid it is not so easy to adapt, and I think that day will surely come in the future, is the so-called "heavy Yin will be Yang, heavy Yang will be Yin."

2.

Financial voucher automatic Posting, this function at that time seemed to be very advanced, do a business operation, automatically produced a voucher, is simply a miracle! Yes, it was really awesome at the time, and now it seems that this is really SAP's biggest advantage, seamless integration. However, an advantage is a disadvantage, and everything has two sides, so why is an advantage a disadvantage? We will mention it later.

3.

Credit control. Around 2000, when our country's economy was developing rapidly, many enterprises sold on credit in order to occupy market share, so I think there was a reason why business was good at that time, because it did not require too much capital investment. I directly asked the supplier to deliver goods to me. And then you can sell it before you pay the supplier, which is kind of like getting caught with nothing. Gome, Suning, Yongle, five Star these electric chain stores at that time is very hot, many suppliers of products are directly put into the store for sale, and then pay suppliers after sales, and there is a considerable account period. At that time, Suning and Gome each opened a store, there were a large number of people queued up overnight to buy cheap products, in fact, these special products are ultimately paid by the supplier, in order to reduce losses, sometimes suppliers will send employees to directly take cash to buy these products. A large number of credit sales also bring the corresponding risk of bad debts, so the credit control function of SAP is actually very good. When placing an order, check the credit conditions (different inspection conditions can be set, such as the total amount, the maximum order amount, and the longest account period). It is better to control at the front of the business than to ask for the goods after they have been sent out. Before the delivery of the initiative in you, the goods out of the initiative can be in others, in our Chinese joking saying is "owe money is uncle". Unfortunately, many domestic enterprises in order to seize market share, and sometimes one-sided pursuit of sales, credit control is often just hung on the lips, few companies really do it. I think of a sentence in a training video that I have seen before, "the accounts receivable that are not collected are costs," which is indeed the truth.
